About Transcoma Sur

Transcoma was established in 1810 as a Ship’s Agent in Barcelona as Daniel Ripoll y Cia, which began attending merchant ships in Barcelona. By 1940 the company was established in several ports around the country and decided to change its name to Transportes y Consignaciones Maritimas, which was shortened to Transcoma. This began a gradual expansion of the company that consolidated it into one of the major shipping and logistics groups in Spain.

Today, Transcoma Grupo Empresarial, our group of companies, is still run with the high standards of quality and customer service that have made its name in the sector, and retains its family-based shareholder structure. It is formed by over 35 different companies and over 300 professionals in the sector, and has 21 offices in three countries. The group provides an integral service for all parts of the supply chain, from logistical support to freight forwarding to customs agency to ship’s agency.
