I am pleased to inform you that Europa Point Shipping Agency has entered into a much closer relationship with our partner Transcoma Grupo Empresarial and which will bring together our expertise in the Straits of Gibraltar with the strength and network that the Transcoma Group can offer. As a result, we have decided to rename the company for commercial purposes, from the 1st February 2011, to Transcoma Sur S.L.

This change will not affect our day to day business in Algeciras or our relationships with clients and suppliers. The team in Algeciras remains the same, and you will be receiving the same excellent service that has been the hallmark of our company up to now. This new stage will allow you to enjoy personalized attention to the same standards from our large network of sister companies in 12 of Spain’s ports, and we will be embarking in a number of exciting joint projects and expanding the company.

As the first step in our international expansion, I am pleased to announce the opening of our offices in Gibraltar, under the name Transcoma (Gibraltar) Ltd.

Both offices will be under my management, and our teams are excited by the prospects of what is to come. This exciting new venture allows us to serve you equally well on both sides of the bay, and to quickly offer you services from one port if you find that those of the other are not to your liking.

We are certain that this change will only be a good thing for all of us and improve and enlarge our range of services to you. I hope I can count on your support and confidence as we embark on this new stage for our company, and we all look forward to working with you, on both sides of the bay.
